Which value identifies a collection point?
Use the collection point enumeration value on the ShippingService object:
{
"@type": "ShippingService",
"fulfillmentType": "https://schema.org/FulfillmentTypeCollectionPoint"
}
Google's shipping policy documentation defines this value as shipment to a collection point for customer pickup. The collection point is therefore the destination type described by the service. The markup does not itself name a particular locker, shop, or other pickup location because the fulfillmentType definition only describes the delivery mode.
The corresponding address-delivery value is https://schema.org/FulfillmentTypeDelivery. Google says this is the default when the property is not specified, so an explicit collection point value distinguishes the service from the documented default.
Where does the property belong?
Schema.org defines fulfillmentType as a property whose expected type is FulfillmentTypeEnumeration and whose applicable type is ShippingService. The value belongs inside the shipping service object, alongside properties such as name, description, and shippingConditions when those properties describe the same service.
For a standard policy that applies to most or all products, Google's shipping policy guidance says to nest ShippingService under Organization with hasShippingService. Google also recommends placing the policy information on one page that describes the business's shipping policy rather than repeating it on every page.
The surrounding organization markup can therefore identify the business, while hasShippingService points to a service whose fulfillmentType says that orders go to a collection point. Google's documentation treats a product-specific exception separately through OfferShippingDetails under Offer.
What other values exist in Schema.org?
Schema.org's FulfillmentTypeEnumeration page lists FulfillmentTypeCollectionPoint, FulfillmentTypeDelivery, FulfillmentTypePickupDropoff, FulfillmentTypePickupInStore, and FulfillmentTypeScheduledDelivery as enumeration members. The same page says that the enumeration can appear as the value of fulfillmentType on ShippingService.
Google's ShippingService feature documentation specifically describes the collection point and address-delivery values in its supported property table. The other Schema.org members are part of the vocabulary page, while Google's feature table describes these two values for this feature.
How can you check the markup?
Check that the JSON-LD describes a ShippingService, that fulfillmentType is inside that object, and that the collection point value is written as the Schema.org URL shown above. The service also needs Google's required shippingConditions property for the ShippingService structured data type. Google describes shippingConditions as the property for the shipping cost or delivery times that apply to a set of conditions such as delivery location.
Google says that features that consume structured data might not show up in Search results. The documented collection point value describes the service's fulfillment mode; the documentation gives no outcome for a particular Search display.
