The credit is Citead's unit of consumption: 1 written article costs 1 credit, a rewrite 0.5 to 2 credits depending on the effort, and analyzing a page costs nothing. The exact cost is shown in the app before each action.

How much does Citead cost?

Accepted Answer

Starter costs 29 EUR per month, or 0.97 EUR a day, for 50 credits and 1 site. Pro costs 79 EUR per month, or 2.63 EUR a day, for 200 credits and 5 sites, with the editorial calendar. Competitor tracking is included in both plans, up to 10 competitors per site. Page analyses are free on both plans, and the public analyzer works without an account.

What happens at the end of the free trial?

The trial lasts 14 days and needs no credit card. Without a subscription at the end of the trial, the account moves to the free plan, which is limited to 1 site and the analysis of 20 pages. Article writing, rewrites and AI citation tracking then require a subscription.

How many credits do I need?

With 50 credits per month, Starter covers 50 written articles or around a hundred light rewrites on 1 site. With 200 credits per month, Pro covers 200 articles across 5 sites. A team publishing 2 to 3 articles a week fits in Starter; above 10 a week or across several sites, Pro.

Can I change plan?

Yes, at any time and in both directions. The change takes effect immediately.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. The counter resets on the first day of each month, so spreading usage across the month works best.

What happens if I run out of credits?

An alert warns you before the limit. Once the quota is reached you move up a plan or wait for the monthly reset; read access to your data stays open.

No. Plans are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time from your billing page.

Is the GEO score reliable?

The score comes from a published formula: eleven weighted sub-measures of the text, plus freshness. Share of each criterion: semantic richness 53%, citability 31%, freshness 8%, organization 6%, authority 2%; naturalness is shown separately. The free analysis uses rules only: the same content always gives the same score. In your account, a language model refines these scores within a fixed margin around the rule-based value, so the score can vary slightly from one analysis to the next. The method is published on the Methodology page.
